Revealed: Next Opponent Of Roman Reigns On Raw After Wrestlemania 35 1

The comeback process of Roman Reigns began a few weeks ago when he announced of putting Leukemia back to remission. A tag team match took place at Fastlane, thereafter where The Shield competed in one final match. But a solo contest following the return was due for this year’s Wrestlemania 35 where he competed against Drew McIntyre.

Why Roman Reigns did not appear on Raw?

Two champions shifting brands at Superstar Shakeup

This was a personal rivalry after McIntyre took shots to his opponent talking about his family. Ultimately, Roman Reigns defied the odds by putting away the Scottish Psychopath in the big match to bring back the momentums in his favor. Now we have thought of seeing the same feud continuing for the better part of the post-Wrestlemania season which may not be the case.

Dave Meltzer spoke on this topic this week’s episode of Wrestling Observer Radio on who could Roman Reigns be facing next from Monday Night Raw. He spelled out the name of the superstar which may not make the fans very happy. None other than Baron Corbin is the name under speculation in this context.

Meltzer mentioned that how Baron Corbin defeated Kurt Angle in his final match at Wrestlemania 35. Potentially, the creative team is grooming him up for the next feud against the franchise player of the company. Here are the exact comments from the source,

“It looks like Baron Corbin is being groomed for Roman Reigns, which least explains his win over Kurt [Angle].”

Future advertisements of WWE has already confirmed this feud for post-Wrestlemania season. Extreme Rules host venue has disclosed the marquee feud heading into the PPV that featured Roman Reigns vs. Baron Corbin as the headliner. Also, Seth Rollins might get involved in a championship feud against Drew McIntyre as per the ads.

These are completely speculations as per the earlier reports which may get changed. The Superstar Shakeup is returning that will bring some big-time changes to the roster on both Raw and Smackdown. Being the poster boy, Roman Reigns may continue to be on Monday Night Raw but his future opponents’ list may see big changes.
