Rhea Ripley stole all the spotlights when she defeated Asuka to win her first main roster title at WrestleMania 37. Not only it turned out to be one of the better matches of the night it also showed what Rhea Ripley is actually capable of.
Rhea was not taken very seriously when she made her debut on the Mae Young Classic 2017, she could only survive till the second round of the tournament. But as soon as she made her debut on the NXT UK, the huge potential she had was clearly seen.

Rhea Ripley Speaks On Her NXT Run
Since then she kept climbing the ladder of success. Only at the age of 24, the Australian is already a fan favorite. And after conquering NXT UK and NXT, Ripley is finally here in the main roster.
WWE Raw Women’s Champion recently spoke to Talksport where she took on a variety of subjects including her successful run at NXT and her future goals. Given below are some highlights;

On the extra time she got to spend in NXT:
“I didn’t really know what the whole plan was for the rest of the year, but I thought it would last a lot longer than it did. I thought I’d be, in my mind, having matches with Charlotte for the majority of the year then possibly going to RAW or SmackDown and continuing things there. But, it didn’t happen and I’m still really thankful I got that extra time in NXT because I got to do so much cool stuff. Like I got to wrestle one of my best friends, Raquel Gonzalez, and have epic matches. I’m still really thankful I got to stay and do my work there, but I definitely thought it was going to lead somewhere different.”

On WWE creative:
“Yeah, it’s wild! You just got to trust the process because even if you don’t know what’s going on, they always do. It’s wild to think we’re back to where I was a year ago and I’m back into something with Charlotte Flair. And it’s cool to have Asuka there too. I think that’s going to be magic.”
Ripley is currently feuding with Charlotte flair and Asuka for the Raw women’s title. Being the champion herself she is doing her role perfectly. It is also rumored that she will feud with Becky Lynch next. Whatever she does we hope she delivers the best.
