Rhea Ripley To Make WWE Smackdown Debut, This Week?

Proving the recent speculations right, Rhea Ripley made her main roster debut at the 2021 Royal Rumble event. She was a favorite draw to eventually pick up the win. Eventually, it appeared that the Australian Superstar was the last woman to get eliminated from the match by the winner Bianca Belair. The overall second Rumble entry is counted to be her official call-up.

Reports do confirm that no one else from the NXT Women’s division was officially called up to the main roster during that Rumble match except for Rhea Ripley. At this point, it seems that WWE has also assigned her to a brand. She was not backstage during this past episode of Monday Night RAW, the post-Rumble edition, according to PW Insider.

The source further noted that Rhea Ripley is slotted to be on the SmackDown brand and she is booked to be present at the ThunderDome, this Friday night. Unlike the earlier predictions that she could be a handy option for the Raw Women’s Division, now she may just gear up to be the future challenger for Sasha Banks and the Smackdown Women’s Championship, instead.

Rhea Ripley Not Keen On Helping Out Boyfriend To Reach WWE

Rhea Ripley set for grand main roster debut?

After a long wait, Rhea Ripley is finally getting the chance to shine on the WWE main roster. Since this young lady is touted to be the future of the women’s division, many fans will be paying close attention to how Vince McMahon decides to book her on the main roster. Triple H did build her up as a huge superstar and now we can only hope that Vinnie Mac wouldn’t ruin that status.

Since after losing the NXT Women’s Title at WrestleMania 36 at the hands of Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley is going through a downtime who is hoping to boost up her career upon SmackDown show-up. WWE put a few NXT Superstars in the Royal Rumble match, and it seems only a couple of them are set to be a part of the main roster. Damien Priest is now a part of the Raw brand after Rumble appearance.

PWInsider also noted on another surprise Rumble entrant, Santana Garrett’s status. It was mentioned that she could have been used as a replacement for Mia Yim as she was pulled off the 30-Woman match due to coronavirus pandemic. As for Rhea Ripley, she made her final NXT appearance when she was defeated by Raquel Gonzalez in a weekly episode, last month.
