Former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Rhyno who is also a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion and a former WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion recently expressed his happiness on winning the Impact Tag Team Championship with Heath Slater.

Rhyno started his professional wrestling career at a very young age of 19 and he had been pretty impressive from the very first day of joining the world of professional wrestling. Rhyno Expresses His Happiness On His Recent Success In Impact Wrestling

In 1999 he joined the Extreme Championship Wrestling aka ECW which was a very famous professional wrestling promotion back in that time. He had been used repeated as a main event star and won the ECW World Heavyweight Championship one time and the ECW World Television Championship for two times in total.

He worked with ECW till it went extinct in 2001 and directly joined WWE as the promotion was purchased by Vince McMahon and a lot of stars of it went on to join the WWE. Rhyno was one of them. But it was quite unfortunate that WWE never treated him as a main event star.

“You know, that’s one thing we talked about, [the] Heath For Impact [stoyline], and that’s a goal we set. And at the beginning of the year we made a promise to the fans and made it public in our goals. And you know, when he came in and he got hurt, I was there for him.

“And then same thing, he was there for me when Honor No More tried to put us out. But it’s like one of those things where you accomplish something you set out to do. And it’s so rewarding when you’re sitting here with the titles around your waist or on your shoulder. And then you know, the battle just begins because everyone is coming for you.”
