Ric Flair is done with the WWE, as reported earlier and unlike other released talents, the veteran doesn’t have to serve a no-compete clause for 90 days. Hence, he was able to make an appearance at another wrestling promotion as quickly as possible. He went physical and helped her would-be son-in-law Andrade in his scheduled match.
AAA Triplemania XXIX took place this past weekend at the Arena Ciudad de México in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico. The same event witnessed a title change where Deonna Purrazzo won the Reina de Reinas Championship from Faby Apache. In the co-main event of the night, the AAA Megacampeonato Title was on the line between champion Kenny Omega and Andrade.
Charlotte Flair Reminds WWE Universe That She’s Undefeated At Summerslam
Before heading into the match, Andrade had an argument with Konnan, backstage. Andrade mentioned that he no longer wanted Konnan in his corner because someone more suitable for the job was hired. Konnan then went into Omega’s dressing room and made an entrance accompanying Omega. Andrade, on the other hand, appeared accompanied by Ric Flair.

Charlotte Flair also attended AAA event with Ric Flair
The Nature Boy went physical during the match as he would deliver some of his signature chops to Omega before putting him down with a roundhouse punch. Ric Flair then applied the Figure Four onto Konnan, as Andrade did the same to Omega. Omega, however, managed to retain his championship by planting Andrade with the One-Winged Angel.
Charlotte Flair was also present, backstage at last night’s AAA TripleMania to watch Ric Flair being in the corner of Andrade El Idolo. It was Konnan who posted a photo to confirm that The Queen was indeed at the event.
Per the updates from Wrestling Observer Radio, the rumor was that Charlotte Flair went to Mexico City, but she couldn’t make an appearance at AAA TripleMania since that would cause a contract violation with WWE. This could be the reason why Charlotte Flair missed last night’s WWE Supershow in her own hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina where WWE RAW Women’s Champion Nikki Cross A.S.H. defeated Rhea Ripley to retain her title.
As noted above, Ric Flair recently made his exit from WWE, and afterward, it was reported that he had issues with the company, from a creative perspective. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio further reported that the legendary wrestler is expected to join AEW when he’s legally able to do so.
