Two times WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair recently shared his feeling on the future WWE Hall of Famer John Cena. Ric Flair and John Cena are the only two wrestlers in WWE Who are considered by WWE as 16 times former world champions.

Cena and Flair did not work together in any direct storyline. Of course they have worked together in different promos and segments, but professional wrestling fans never got the privilege of seeing these two legends of professional wrestling working in a single storyline ever.

Ric Flair On His View On John Cena

The biggest reason behind this is the brand extension of WWE that took place in 2002. Flair went on to work in Monday Night RAW when Cena was drafted to Friday Night Smackdown. Flair remained busy in his works as a member of the Evolution and John Cena was busy in building up his career.

Later John Cena was drafted to RAW in 2005 when he was the WWE champion, even the Flair remained on RAW, they never worked in a single storyline. This always remained a dream of the professional wrestling fans to see these two legends of professional wrestling working together in a single feud or storyline, but this never happened, and unfortunate it seems, we may never get to see it since Flair is already 72 year old.

Two times WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair who is a former sixteen times World Chamoion recently spoke to SI where he shared his feeling on the future WWE Hall of Famer John Cena. He said;

“John Cena, the man’s a star. He gave 10 years, every day of his life, to the business, and he is still finding new ways to work hard. John just doesn’t know any other way. It’s been a pleasure to see every piece of work he’s done so far since coming back.

“John represents WWE at the highest level. I’m as big a John Cena fan as you can find. Look at what’s in store. John working Roman Reigns—that’s going to be special.”
