Former WWE United States champion Ricochet wants to be drafted to SmackDown as he thinks there will be more opportunities for him in the blue brand than Raw.
The thirty two year old professional wrestler started training for professional wrestling at the age of 15 only. After spending a long time on the Independent Circuit, he came to WWE in 2018. He joined NXT on the same here and spent one year in the brand. During this time period he won the WWE NXT North American Championship one time.

Ricochet Wants Smackdown Switch
In February 2019 he made his main roster debut. Since then he is in Monday night RAW only. In over two year time period, he could manage to have only one WWE United States Championship Run which is surely not good enough for is standard.
The former WWE NXT North American champion believes that she would get more opportunities if he gets drafted to SmackDown. It has always been said that SmackDown is the Land of Opportunity. We can now say SmackDown ‘was’ the Land of Opportunity as the show is not as good as it was previously.

But Ricochet believes a switch to the blue brand will help his career. During his recent interview with WWE host Quetzalli Bulnes on El Brunch de WWE he expressed his desire to go to SmackDown. He said;
“I mean, I’ve only done maybe a handful of SmackDown shows when me and Aleister [Black] first got moved up, we were a tag team, and I was only there for a little bit but I really did enjoy my time there and I think now with the people that they got over there, especially, we got Apollo [Crews] over there. He’s Intercontinental Champion. That’s somebody that I would like to share the ring with.

“We got Street Profits, you got all these guys, you got Roman [Reigns]. I think SmackDown has a lot of good competitors and I really — I think SmackDown would be a really cool place for me to explore because I just really haven’t had the chance to be there yet so I think there’s so many opportunities that we could have over there for sure.”
