Adam Cole is one of the top stars of wrestling today who is pretty much active in the famous wrestling promotion All Elite Wrestling. He has worked in almost the major promotions as well as famous indie promotions. But it would not be much wrong if we say that he could establish him as a top star after working in the Ring of Honor.
The Ring of Honor is responsible for creating many top stars of today’s wrestling world including the likes of Kevin Owens and Daniel Bryan. Adam Cole himself was active in the Ring of Honor for over eight years and he joined WWE after that to dominate the NXT. Right now he is active in the AEW.

Ring of Honor’s Legacy: Adam Cole Discusses ROH’s Influence on the Evolution of Wrestling
Much like a lot of big companies, Ring of Honor could not survive the difficult times of the covid-19 pandemic and it was pretty unfortunate that they had to announce bankruptcy. Tony Khan purchased the ROH and he is running it as a regular promotion. Cole was recently interviewed by Superstar Crossover where he shared massive praise for ROH;
“I think Ring of Honor may be the most important company that has helped evolve what modern pro wrestling is today. Seriously, when you look at all the talent that came from Ring of Honor, Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe, the Briscoes, AJ Styles, The Young Bucks.

Adam Cole Worked In ROH For Eight Years
“I mean, the list goes on and on and on of these guys who have come through Ring of Honor in some capacity, and also the style of wrestling that kind of started to transcend and move forward a little bit into the casual wrestling audience and what they liked in wrestling matches was huge.
“Again, these were guys who not all of us are 6’4, 265 pounds, a lot of us had this certain style of pro wrestling that we really wanted to showcase. The athleticism was huge. The hard-hitting style was huge. The crazy passionate fan base was really important. So to this day, you know, I spent seven years in Ring of Honor and my first wrestling contract ever was with ROH.

“So there is no doubt in my mind, I would have not gone to NXT, I would have not gone to New Japan Pro Wrestling, I might not be in AEW if it wasn’t for my time in ROH. That’s just for me personally. I think a bunch of guys can say the same thing. So ROH is incredibly important in the modern era of wrestling that we’re in, and the history is incredibly important.”
ROH is still running pretty strongly under Tony Khan’s reign it has somehow crossed path with the All Elite Wrestling since both promotions are now owned by the same person. But kudos to Tony Khan for not destroying ROH after the takeover. We hope ROH keeps on growing as a top promotion in the pro wrestling world.
