WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg is in the hospital right now after a heart attack. Road Dogg’s wife Tracy Conant James broke the news first after she wrote about it on her Facebook page;
I want to thank everyone for the prayers and text. Brian most likely suffered a heart attack late Thursday night after returning from Orlando. He has had test run and we’re currently waiting for the results. He has also seen a kidney specialist and will have a stress test done. He’s always been on bp meds for high bp. Just please pray all the test come back for something we can fix. I am a total wreck but I’m trying so hard to be positive! Please pray for Brian He feels horrible and for God to please heal my husband so he can come home! Thank y’all all so much!
Road Dogg Hospitalized After Heart Attack
She later added that a kidney test came back clear and they will take a look at his heart on Monday. She also thanked the fans for supporting them in this critical situation;
Just an update. Doc just came in. Kidneys came back clear and a heart cath is scheduled for Monday and they will determine then what’s to be done. Please continue to pray for him and his doctors. And our family. Thank y’all and we love y’all!
Road Dogg has been a six times WWE Tag Team champion along with ‘The One’ Billy Gunn. He also won the WWE intercontinental championship once and the WWE Hardcore Championship once.
He was a member of one of the most famous stables of the WWE Attitude Era; D Generation X. His tag team with Billy Gunn is vastly known as ‘The New Age Outlaws.’ He was one of the prime performers of the most famous time period of WWE, The Attitude Era. In 2019, Road Dogg had been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame along with his fellow D Generation X members.
Currently, he is working as backstage personnel of WWE. He is one of the scriptwriters and producers of the third brand of WWE, WWE NXT. He is also seen giving sporadic appearances. Road Dogg along with his long-time partner Billy Gunn appeared as regular wrestlers from 2011 to 2014. They won their sixth tag team title in this time period. They also faced the Shield at WrestleMania XXX along with Kane in a six-man tag team match to promote the Shield.
