Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg Jessie James who is also a former six times WWE Tag Team Champion recently talked about his long time Tag Team partner Billy Gunn. He also revealed how they are relationship was when they started to be a tag team.
Road Dogg started his professional wrestling career back in 1986 and he work in different professional wrestling promotions including the likes of WCW. In 1994 he came to WWE for the first time in career and he started to get some recognition from the fan from 1996 when he was re packaged as Double J Jessie James.

Road Dogg Talks About His Relationship With Billy Gunn
In 1997 he teamed up with Billy Gunn for the first time and together there were famously known as the New Age Outlaws. In early 1998, they teamed up with D Generation X which was one of the hottest stables of that time. The New Outlaws was one of the most famous tag teams of WWE during the Attitude Era.
The New Age Outlaws on the WWE Tag Team Championship six times in total, five of them were one during the Attitude Era. Dogg had some individual success as well, he won the WWE Intercontinental championship one time, and the WWE Hardcore Championship one time. In 2019 he got inducted into the WWE as a part of D Generation X.

Road Dogg Jessie James who is also a former six times WWE Tag Team Champion recently spoke to “Oh…You Didn’t Know” podcast where he talked about his long time Tag Team partner Billy Gunn. He also revealed how they are relationship was when they started to be a tag team. He said;
“I was the New Age Outlaw Jesse James Armstrong. That was my name in Memphis in USWA in late ’95 when we (him and Jeff Jarrett) quit (WWE). I went there and started working. I had new clothes made that said New Age Outlaw.

“I wrestled as the New Age Outlaw, and so when we went there I just said ‘Hey, I would love to use New Age Outlaws’, and so it stuck. I don’t know where I ripped it off from. I’m sure I didn’t come up with it by myself.”
“We’ve literally grown from then to now in our relationship, and I mean, we’ve been through everything, ups and downs and all arounds and we got sober together. I spent this whole weekend with him and our relationship couldn’t be better. I have probably three really good friends in the industry, and he’s one of them. That relationship is just ironclad now. It’s awesome.”
