Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg who is a former six times WWE Tag Team Champion recently talked about WWE Raw star Dominik Mysterio and praised him. He said that the 25 year old professional wrestler can become the WWE Universal champion in the near future.
Dominik Mysterio started his professional wrestling career alongside his legendary father Rey Mysterio and the duo mostly worked as a tag team. They even won the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship in 2021 to become the first ever father and son Tag Team champion in WWE history.
Road Dogg Thinks Dominik Mysterio Can Win The Universal Championship One Day
But WWE had bigger plans for Dominik then just being a tag team wrestler. Last year at the Clash at the Castle pay per view event, he turned heel and went against his own father. On that exact night he started a feud with his father which is still going on at this very date.
Dominik joined the evil faction of Monday Night RAW which is the Judgment Day after turning heel. Since joining the Judgement Day the 25 year old professional wrestler had been doing pretty well. He had shown the different side of himself while being a member of this evil faction.
However, a lot of fans are not happy with whatever Dominik is doing, but with time a lot of them are being convinced with his growth. He had been a very hated heel so far and we can definitely say that he is doing his job perfectly. We hope to see Dominik Mysterio being one of the top guys of WWE in the near future, just like his father was.
Road Dogg who is a former six times WWE Tag Team Champion recently spoke on his “Oh…You Didn’t Know” Podcast where he talked about WWE Raw star Dominik Mysterio and praised him. He said that the 25 year old professional wrestler can become the WWE Universal champion in the near future. He said;
“I’ll tell you who’s really impressed me the most lately is Damian Priest. He has come so far. You can say what you want about Dom Mysterio. He’s got the most heat than anybody in the company right now. I see the live events and read the reports, so I know.
“He’s actually coming into his own and the in-ring stuff too, and really hanging out with the right crowd, that’s for dang sure and doing the right things. Think about the people that Damian Priest is surrounded by, Finn Balor, Rhea, Dom, he’s even in that group stepping out and shining. I predict he’ll be a Universal Champion one day. I do believe that and I believe he could carry it.”
