Fans of WWE Smackdown are being treated with the ongoing Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar program in the main event. Despite the repetitiveness of the lineup, the feud has become intrigued with the two top superstars changing their characteristics from earlier times. A future Wrestlemania match is also likely to be held between the two superstars.

Roman Reigns is the reigning WWE Universal Champion since 2020 Summerslam who has certainly been very dominant. Almost everyone bowed down to him during his ongoing title run which has been ongoing for well over a year. It is unlikely that he will be losing the title anytime soon from the looks despite the fact that The Beast is lurking around him.

Interestingly, reports do suggest that WWE might be using Brock in a cunning way where Roman Reigns himself becomes an indestructible force just like the longest-reigning Universal Champion of all time.

Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Wrestling Podcast addressed the criticism around Roman Reigns who has been receiving tons of wins by his name. While discussing The Tribal Chief’s recent PPV win against WWE Champion Big E, he stated that WWE is currently booking him to be a force to be reckoned with just like Brock has been in the WWE since his return in 2012,

”Why would Roman lose? The whole story is that he is a monster. He is the Brock Lesnar now. He is undefeated. He has been the champion for over 400 days. This guy is not going to lose and he is going to continue winning until someone dethrones him. Maybe the guy who dethrones him is Drew McIntyre.”

Big E collided with Roman Reigns in the main event of the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view in a Champion vs. Champion match. The match was a great one and making the spoilers true, the Universal Champion reigned supreme over the WWE Champion. It was a clean pinfall win without any assistance from The Usos.

Moving on, The Head of the Table is slated to defend his title against Brock at the inaugural WWE Day 1 PPV event. Going by the reports, the universal title isn’t expected to change on the show which in turn would set up a rematch at Wrestlemania 38.
