Roman Reigns is your Tribal Chief and he’s surpassed yet another milestone in his illustrious WWE career. As of this day, the reigning Universal Champion has completed 400 days in his current run. He won the title at WWE Payback 2020, all the way back on August 30 of last year by defeating the then-champion Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat Match.

Roman Reigns has since successfully defended the title against Jey Uso, Braun Strowman, Daniel Bryan, Edge, Kevin Owens, Rey Mysterio, Finn Balor, Cesaro, and John Cena. His title defense included a Triple Threat at Wrestlemania 37 Night Two. Besides, the champion remains undefeated in the WWE since December 2019. He hasn’t experienced a single clean pinfall or submission loss since that time.

Roman Reigns set for next title defense at Crown Jewel

As stated earlier, Roman Reigns is set to defend his title, next against Brock Lesnar in a mega match in the main event of WWE Crown Jewel 2021. The PPV takes place in Saudi Arabia on October 21st which will also witness another former Universal Champion Goldberg in action against Bobby Lashley.

At this point, Roman Reigns is inching closer to break another record held by CM Punk. The former Straight Edge leader held the WWE Championship for 434 days and became the longest-reigning WWE Champion of the modern era. If the Head of the Table can hold on to his strap for about a month, then it appears he will surpass Punk, shortly.
