Roman Reigns is the reigning Universal Champion who has enjoyed almost 450 days with the belt around his shoulder. This has been unarguably the best run of his career as he remains unpinned for over 700 days. The much-anticipated heel-turn happened after he came back at SummerSlam, last year and since then he didn’t have to turn back.
For several years fans have been wanting Roman Reigns to turn heel as he was actively rejected as a babyface. This hell-turn worked well for him as the merchandise selling around him just went bigger. As reported earlier, he touched the dimension to which John Cena used to belong in his prime. This indicates that The Head of the Table might follow the path of his predecessor.
WWE Smackdown: Roman Reigns Hits Another Milestone In Current Title Run
Being a cousin to the biggest box office attraction in Hollywood, The Rock, Roman Reigns is firmly believed to transition into movies, sooner or later. While speaking on The Michael Kay Show, the Universal Champion was asked if he was indeed going to Hollywood. The answer was positive as he hinted at pursuing a career in movies, somewhere down the line.
Roman Reigns could move to Hollywood, sooner than later
“We will have to see. I think there’s going to be some moves made here pretty soon,” Reigns admitted. “There’s always speculation and contract talks, all that question of it is my business. People who can dive deep enough, I’m sure they can turn enough stones to figure out the timeframe,” stated Roman Reigns.
“But that is something I definitely want to dabble in and gain more experience. I want to use these tools that I have learned.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
The Tribal Chief also mentioned how WWE has been so great to him. They’ve offered so many great blessings and opportunities to him and he just had to grab him. While doing so, he learned so many skills when it comes to character playing which might just help him if he does some movies, down the road.
Roman Reigns is no stranger in movies as has previously acted in “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw” or The Wrong Missy alongside some TV shows such as “Cousins for Life.” Due to this and the fact that he’s considered the franchise player of the WWE, many believe he will follow in The Rock and John Cena’s footsteps and become an actor. But for the time being, he’s not dropping the Universal Title, anytime soon.
