Roman Reigns had an interesting year in 2020 where he started as the biggest babyface of the roster but eventually, he ended up to be the top-most heel. His run has been tremendous, to say the least, especially during the second half of the year since he returned at SummerSlam. This was also the time that he officially turned into a heel.
Moving on, Roman Reigns won the WWE Universal Championship to have a couple of main event programs with the likes of Jey Uso and Kevin Owens. Overall, The Head of the Table managed to keep an impressive record in WWE, last year. He could be compared to legends like Hulk Hogan and John Cena when it came to winning most of his matches.

Stat: Roman Reigns Lost Only Three Times In 2020
A report has been published by Cagematch.net that showed Roman Reigns has been victorious in 90.6% of his WWE matches in 2020. The record includes matches on television and WWE live events prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. The stats show The Tribal Chief wrestled in thirty-two matches in 2020 and he won twenty-nine matches.
His first loss was the Royal Rumble match, where Drew McIntyre was the winner. He was thrown out of the ring by the winner himself and that elimination also decided the winner of the match. Another loss took place on the December 4th episode of Smackdown where Kevin Owens and Otis beat Roman Reigns and Jey Uso by disqualification.

The remaining loss occurred on the January 3 episode of SmackDown, where Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan’s tag team match against Dolph Ziggler and King Corbin ended in a no contest. So, basically, The Big Dog didn’t suffer a clean pinfall or submission loss in the whole year of 2020. It’s the most impressive record which is even better than WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.
The December 4 episode loss was Roman Reigns’ 1st loss in 355 days. (not counting the Men’s Royal Rumble 2020 match) Before that Reigns lost in a normal match that took place at TLC 2019, to King Corbin (this wasn’t a clean loss either, as The Revival and Dolph Ziggler helped Corbin to win that match).
