Roman Reigns is the kingpin of the WWE for a long time. He has been incredibly dominant in WWE as the Universal Champion since August 2020. Then he won the biggest WrestleMania match of all time against Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship and become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. With that, there’s nothing that can stand in his way

Drew McIntyre faced off against Roman Reigns at WWE Clash At The Castle for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship. There was wild speculation that a new champion would be crowned on that night after a long wait. It was an edge-of-the-seat thriller where McIntyre was on the verge of picking up the biggest win of his career but the newest Bloodline member saved the day.

Given that the top titles are still intact with the Head of the Table, the question remains when those two will again be defended. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer gave an update stating that Roman Reigns is still not scheduled to compete at Extreme Rules on October 8th. With his limited schedule, The Tribal Chief isn’t likely to wrestle on TV for a long time.

“He’s not on the (next) show (Extreme Rules). His next championship match is Saudi Arabia. I don’t know who against, but I know it’s Saudi Arabia. He’s not on the Philly show,” the source stated.

Karrion Kross is the most likely name to face off against Roman Reigns for the undisputed title. That match should happen within the next couple of months. Fans can’t wait to see how WWE would book Kross against the poster boy of the company.

During the end of the post-SummerSlam episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Karrion Kross made his shocking return and immediately made an impact by attacking Drew McIntyre. He then also set his sights on Roman Reigns by sharing a face-off with him. Besides he’s also directly threatened the champion to make his intentions clear and that he is coming for the titles.
