Roman Reigns is the reigning WWE Universal Champion on Smackdown who has established himself to be the top-most Superstar in the company. The heel character work by him has been a standout that earned praise from the wrestling critics. This is just proof of how good he can be as an in-ring performer as well as a character.

The top spot of the food chain belongs to him who will hold on to that spot for a very long time, it appears. Roman Reigns has been booked as a very dominant champion, similar to what Brock Lesnar once was. So he hasn’t been losing his matches.

According to Liam Winnard on Twitter, it was mentioned that Roman Reigns is the only person on the main roster in WWE to have had more than one match this year and has been victorious in them all.

Statistics also point out that technically Rinku Singh/Veer should also be on the list as he won a match at Superstar Spectacle in January as Rinku Singh and another win on Main Event as Veer. But those two matches took place under different characters and thus he can be counted out.

In 2020, Roman Reigns wrestled in thirty-two matches and he won twenty-nine of them which is a 90.6% win record. But the most important thing is that he hasn’t suffered a pinfall or submission loss in the entire year as WWE protected his character, no matter what.

His first loss was on the January 3 episode of SmackDown, where Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan’s tag team match against Dolph Ziggler and King Corbin ended in a no contest. The second one was the Royal Rumble match, where Drew McIntyre became the winner. The third and final loss took place on the December 4th episode of Smackdown where Kevin Owens and Otis beat Reigns and Jey Uso, via disqualification.
