Professional wrestling legend and future WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman who is the special Council of the WWE Undisputed Universal Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns recently explained why the Tribal Chief is the biggest attraction for the Money in the Bank pay per view event.
The WWE Undisputed Universal heavyweight champion Reigns did not defend his Championship at Money in the Bank, he did not even appear in the event. But there were rumours of him appearing on the event, and it was also you want that the winner of the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match would try to cash in on him at the very event.

Paul Heyman Explains Why Roman Reigns Was The Biggest Attraction Of Money In The Bank
Reigns won the WWE Universal Championship at the Payback pay per view event in 2020. Since then two Money in the Bank cash in took place and none of them were on Roman. The first in on Drew McIntyre who was the WWE champion back then and the second one was on Bobby Lashley who was also the WWE champion.
But this time there is no other option. The only option is the WWE Universal Heavyweight champion Roman on whom Theory who is the current Money in the Bank contract holder will definitely cash in at some point. It could be SummerSlam or maybe later. Before the cash in we do not see any chance of Roman dropping the Championship.

But would you be really interesting to see a potential feud between Roman and Theory? Currently both of them are heels and even if one of them turns babyface, would anyone want to watch this feud? Theory is still not booked in that strong. WWE needs to build him really strong before making him a rightful contender against Roman for the WWE Universal Championship.
Paul Heyman who is the special Council of the WWE Undisputed Universal Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns recently spoke to the Dallas Morning News where he explained why the Tribal Chief is the biggest attraction for the Money in the Bank pay per view event. He said;

“I also would suggest that the star of Money in the Bank is truly Roman Reigns. The entire premise of the Money in the Bank event is the main event of the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, in which one man will pull down that briefcase and inside of that briefcase is a contract that is essentially a sword of Damocles over the title reign of Roman Reigns.”
“Because the winner, the holder of that contract, can challenge Roman Reigns for the championship anytime they want over the course of the next 365 days. So, though Roman Reigns is not on the show physically, the spirit of Roman Reigns and the challenge to Roman Reigns is the main event of Money in the Bank.”
