A two-year absence from the WWE was unable to keep Ronda Rousey out of the conversation for the fans since she is a huge mainstream star. She has been seen doing her own thing throughout the pandemic while staying in-home quarantine. Except for doing some interviews, she simply enjoyed a great time with her husband Travis Browney at the Browsey Acres farm. As a result, she has also announced the much-anticipated pregnancy.
While there’s been a lot of uncertainties over whether she’d make it to WWE TV in the future, Ronda Rousey is gearing up to make her return to television in a new role. If reports are to be believed then the Baddest Woman on the Planet is currently in the middle of filming her ESPN+ series.
Originally, it was announced back in December that UFC Hall of Famer would be one of the hosts for the “Peyton’s Places” series. The football-themed documentary series has extended this season to tell the journeys of athletes from other sports leagues, not just football.

Ronda Rousey currently filming for ESPN+ service
In more updates to the news, PWInsider reports that Ronda Rousey has been filming the series over the past few weeks. The former RAW Women’s Champion has been on the road in different cities for the same project including Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, last week. This explains why she had a meet-up with WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, last week.
As reported earlier, Ronda Rousey and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle teased a new project together. It appears that they were reportedly filming for the ESPN+ series in Pittsburgh, although no official announcement has been made regarding this. There is no word on when the series will premiere on Disney’s ESPN+ service, but a new promo featuring Rousey is now available.
Back on April 4th, Ronda Rousey announced that she was 4 months pregnant, expecting her first child with husband Travis Browne. That being said, there’s no chance to see her on WWE TV in the near future. WWE President & Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan stated in April that she would be returning soon which appeared to be false but perhaps he wasn’t aware of the pregnancy situation, either. Rousey has been away from WWE since WrestleMania 35 in 2019, the night she dropped the Raw Women’s Title to Becky Lynch.
