Ronda Rousey has been absent from WWE television since WrestleMania 35 after losing the Raw Women’s Championship. It was the historic Women’s Main Event Match where she faced off against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match. The veteran MMA competitor also reportedly broke her fingers in that match due to which she had to be on a hiatus, anyway.
Since then, Ronda Rousey has been busy with her personal life who’s also been involved in various other projects. Rumors are running rampant regarding when she could make her return to WWE while no confirmed update is available, to date. It has been reported in recent times that she’s been training hard, potentially with husband Travis Browne to make an in-ring return.
Ronda Rousey On Why She Hates To Be A WWE Wrestler
With Royal Rumble 2021 opening the Road to WrestleMania 37, the expectation is that some bigger names will be popping up on WWE TV and Ronda Rousey could be one of them. WWE is apparently very much hopeful with this thought. While speaking to TMZ Sports, Stephanie McMahon was asked if fans would get to see the former UFC Bantamweight Champion make her WWE return.
Stephanie McMahon Hopeful About Ronda Rousey’s Return
The Chief Brand Officer of the WWE mentioned how Ronda Rousey is focusing to start her own family. But they are still hopeful that she will be back to the company, eventually,
“Well, you know, Ronda’s been very public that she would like to start her own family and you know, once she does that, our doors are absolutely open, our arms are open. We are very hopeful that Ronda will come back home to WWE.”
It will be interesting to see if and when the former Raw Women’s Champion will make her return. Natalya and Ronda Rousey are friends, and they knew each other even the latter one arrived at the WWE. Since Rousey’s WWE contract is coming to an end very soon, one last comeback is very much possible. Meanwhile, The Queen of Harts had an interesting reply about her friend’s show-up on WWE TV.
Natalya recently spoke during an interview about a variety of topics where she noted that Ronda Rousey wants to make a return to the WWE since it’s so tempting. As for the timeline of that happening, she advised us to ‘expect the unexpected.’
The only-female UFC Hall of Famer always noted how she was on an “impregnation vacation” when she took time off from WWE after WrestleMania 35. So far, there’s no update on her expecting a child. Since she is almost regularly sweating it out in the ring, it could just be a matter of moments that she resurfaces.
