WWE NXT star and the current WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez who is also a former ROH Women’s World Champion recently looked back at her preparations for the WWE tryout and how she went over prepared for it.
Roxanne Perez started her training at the age of sixteen only. She trained under two times WWE Hall of Famer Booker T and she also worked in the Reality of Wrestling professional wrestling promotion which is owned by Booker T himself. She had been pretty talented and at a very young age she accomplished a lot of glory.

In 2021 she got a big call from The Ring Of Honor. She is spent 1 year in the ROH and in a very short amount of time she became quite famous among the ROH fans. She also became the inaugural ROH Women’s World champion. In 2022 she got her biggest call as she was signed by WWE.
She started working on the NXT which was the development territory of WWE. She teamed up with her fellow NXT star Cora Jade and together they won the NXT Tag Team Championship. Later, Jade turned heel and the duo started a feud. The feud went on for quite long and it had been pretty impressive.

Recently, she defeated Mandy Rose to win the WWE NXT Women’s Championship ending her 413 days’ reign. It is quite clear that WWE has high plans for the twenty one year old American professional wrestler. We hope to see her dominating the main roster soon.
Roxanne Perez who is also a former ROH Women’s World Champion recently spoke to Fightful where she looked back at her preparations for WWE tryout and how she went over prepared for it. Here is what she had to say;

“That felt so cool to me. As a kid, my dream was going to WWE and I was like, ‘I don’t know how I’m gonna get there, but I’m gonna do it.’ Then I find out about the indies and I found out how you can just work your way up throughout the indies and one day maybe they’ll call me. That’s what I wanted to do.
“I wanted to make a big enough name for myself to where I don’t have to beg. They will contact me and be like, ‘Hey, we want you because your work spoke for yourself.’ When I got there, it was crazy to do my tryout and people were like, ‘Yeah, we know you.’ I would never have expected to come into a WWE tryout and people be like, ‘Yeah, you’re
