Sami Zayn Reveals What Happened After Elimination Chamber

At the Royal Rumble pay per view event, he turned on Roman Reigns after he hit him with a Steel Chair. The whole Bloodline turned on him after the incident and he started a feud with the faction. Jey Uso was confused if he should go against Sami at first, but ultimately he made up his mind as well and he decided to stay with his family.

At the Elimination Chamber pay per view event, Sami challenge to Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Heavyweight Championship but ultimately he lost the challenge and he was pretty much out of the world title picture after the defeat. But we are pretty sure that he would be restored back to the main event status soon in WWE.

Sami Zayn who is also a former WWE NXT champion recently spoke on his Elimination Chamber vlog on WWE Youtube Channel where he talked about his match against Roman Reigns from the Elimination Chamber pay per view event and revealed what happened after the event. He said;

“I don’t know, man, now is a weird time to catch me. At the moment, I’m a little numb to strange and I really can’t put my finger on why that is, because they were definitely rocking and rolling every second of the way.

“Maybe it’s at the very end, I don’t know, I can see their faces and I don’t know if that’s just me being bias, but just saw some looks on their faces and it was different kind of, oh, man. It reminded me of Bret-Shawn when I was kid in the last row in the house. But looking at the faces out in the front row stuff, it almost reminded me of the feeling a little bit, then.

“Obviously, apples and oranges, but the feeling was strange. Tonight is like that last little lull in the movie before that third act, when things seem about as bad as they can get. This sort of protagonist of the story has been on this journey and he kinda falls flat.

“But that’s not the end of the story, right, there’s more to it. It’s just, I don’t know, you gotta wait to see how it plays out. Maybe it pays off in a year. Maybe it pays off in two years. This is a never ending story. It’s never the end till it’s the end and hopefully that’s awhile away.”
