Saraya on the verge of returning to action in AEW
From the career perspective, it appears Saraya could indeed be returning to in-ring competition at some point during her AEW run. Since her WWE contract expired in June 2022, she implied returning to competition on several occasions after being cleared by doctors. However, she never provided an affirmative answer on this return, to date except for the fact that she went physical in the ring, a few weeks ago.
During the AEW Dynamite three-year anniversary episode, Saraya became manager for the team of AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm, Athena, and Willow Nightingale as the trio wrestled Jamie Hayter, Serena Deeb, and Penelope Ford in a Trios Match. After the babyfaces won, Baker got into the ring to ensue a physical confrontation.
Saraya and Baker hammered away at each other at the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, DC and the current speculation is that the duo will compete in a match in the near future. The former WWE Divas Champion reunited with Renee Paquette backstage, last week only to be quickly interrupted by Baker. Paquette had to shush them up before it was confirmed that she will host a sit-down interview with the two women on this Wednesday’s Dynamite.
