Saraya remains colorful be it in or outside the ring to fetch attention toward herself, all the time. After joining the AEW roster, last year, tons of dream matches are being speculated around her in the coming months. Recently, she also fueled up speculations about seeing one of the wrestling matches that have become almost extinct, at least from WWE TV.

Intergender wrestling matches where a male wrestler collides with a female wrestler used to be a frequent feature on WWE TV, back in the day. But with PG rules taking things over, those matches have since been removed from WWE television. However, grueling matches filled with blood have been seen on AEW TV and there are chances that intergender matches will also be seen among stars of the same caliber.

Saraya Would Like To “Beat Up” Former WWE Champion In Intergender Match 1

Saraya would love to feature in one of those matches despite some critics and fans may find it offensive that men will wrestle women. The debate is over whether this type of match creates equal opportunity for men and women and shows they’re able to work together to entertain the fans. In the case of the former WWE Divas Champion, she would love to take on a former WWE Champion.

Saraya picked Chris Jericho as her intergender match opponent

Saraya made an appearance on the podcast named WHOO’s House, hosted by DJ WHOO Kid. It was noted in the conversation how she had wrestled numerous matches involving men in the early days of her career in the UK. But officially, she’s yet to participate in an intergender match in the big league. The anti-diva is ready for the interesting match and has an opponent, Chris Jericho in mind,

“I would love to wrestle one of the guys. If I had to beat up Chris Jericho, I’m sure he would be like ‘Yeah, let’s do it!’ He doesn’t care [and] he’s a very selfless worker. He’s a good guy. He’ll wrestle anybody and if he has to let somebody win, then he’ll be like ‘Absolutely.’ There’s never an ego there. He’s always just like ‘Sure’. He wants to help other people. So I’m like ‘Let me beat you. Let me beat you up.'” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)

It was added by Saraya that her boyfriend, musician Ronnie Radke, had expressed interest to see her in a storyline with another wrestler in the AEW men’s division. They both agreed that she should be able to have a good program with Jericho, the veteran. After making her debut with AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam in September, she has mostly been involved in a bitter feud with Dr. Britt Baker DMD, for the time being.
