A couple of months ago, Sasha Banks shocked the WWE Universe by deciding to walk out of WWE due to creative frustrations. Along with her tag team partner Naomi, she opted to leave the WWE at a point when she was the reigning WWE women’s tag team champion.
They’ve been indefinitely suspended since then and haven’t been mentioned on WWE television until Extreme Rules. The good thing is that both Naomi and Sasha Banks have been inserted back into WWE intro vignettes during Crown Jewel 2022 premium live event, hinting at a future return at any point.

In more news, it appears that WWE has also found Sasha Banks 2.0 on the NXT roster. Speaking with Give Me Sport, WrestleVotes have updates that many in the WWE believe that Cora Jade of the WWE developmental will be the next Banks. Here’s more from the source,
“She has the same thing Sasha has, she’s talented she’s got this unique look about her, she’s super young, and she’s pretty decent in the ring, right? The potential of her becoming a big deal is high and WWE sees that.”

Cora Jade seemingly on the same path as Sasha Banks
Before coming to WWE’s main roster, Sasha Banks made a name for herself in NXT, and Cora Jade is no different. She was initially signed with NXT, last year to be pushed as a babyface figure. But she eventually turned heel on her former-friend Roxanne Perez to unravel a different side of her character.
Currently, Jade is involved in a feud with Wendy Choo after coming up short against Perez at Halloween Havoc and thereby wrapping up the heated feud. It was added by the source that “everybody loves Cora” and that WWE’s Head of Creative and Head of Talent Triple H is the main believer that she could be the next Sasha Banks.
To date, Jade has had a brief NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship reign with Perez during her NXT career. There has been no word on when WWE plans on bringing her up permanently to the main roster as the young superstar is still at the beginning of her WWE career.
There’s still a long way to travel for her to reach the level of Sasha Banks and match up to her incredible main roster run. Jade had once appeared on Raw, as she was featured in a backstage segment to pick Rhea Ripley to face Roxanne Perez during their rivalry.
