Sasha Banks and Naomi have been a matter of discussion by the fans over the past few months. This came after the top two superstars of the WWE roster opted to take walk out of live television that’s the May 16 episode of Monday Night Raw. But is there a possibility that WWE created a ‘work’ situation with the former tag team champions?

For those who aren’t familiar with a ‘work’ situation, it’s to let them know that this term is used to indicate a scripted situation created by the WWE in a way where the fans are forced to think that it’s a real one.

Regarding the Sasha Banks and Naomi situation, WWE broke kayfabe on Social Media by saying that RAW is a live scripted TV show while it was also the first-time instance that it was noted that two superstars have actually walked out from the company.

Some of the fans do believe that this article made this situation look like a storyline as if the broadcaster network of Raw was intentionally promoting this situation and making it go viral that in turn has been bringing more attention to WWE programming.

In more news, Sean Sapp Ross mentioned in his report on Fightful that Sasha Banks and Naomi’s deals are not believed to have been frozen if they aren’t getting paid. Dave Meltzer also reported on Wrestling Observer the same by informing that they aren’t getting paid. Their deals could get frozen but this could be a much longer situation.

“A higher said they don’t believe Naomi and Sasha Banks’ contracts would be frozen if they’re not being paid.”

In the absence of Sasha Banks and Naomi, a tournament to crown new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions have been announced by the commentators and officials. However, WWE is yet to officially announce the format and competitors for the same.
