Sasha Banks is one of the original talents produced by the WWE NXT brand who would eventually go on to make a huge impact on the main roster. Starting seven years ago from now, the superstar billed from Boston, Massachusetts managed to establish her identity as a bonafide female pro-wrestler who also possesses a global fanbase.
Things have changed for WWE NXT since Sasha Banks left the brand. It has become NXT 2.0 under the influence of Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard. The original mentor of the NXT Superstars, Triple H has stepped down from his position since he’s dealing with some health issues from the 2021 fall.
Update On WWE Tag Team Title Unification Match Between RK Bro And Usos
In his absence, WWE has introduced a new policy to bring main roster Superstars to NXT in order to boost the TV ratings on the USA Network. That tendency has grown since Triple H lost control and it appears more huge names may show up on Wednesday nights in due course.
Sasha Banks dropped a photo of herself on Twitter during this week’s NXT. She was seen sitting in the new NXT arena while looking up at the colorful logo that was edited into a black and white style photo before getting put up on social media.
“I’ll be watching,” stated The Legit Boss of the WWE a fire and star emoji. It appears that the NXT head-honchos might have had a conversation with her for a potential return to the NXT brand after Natalya is seemingly over with her short stint as she won the much-anticipated singles contest against Cora Jade.

Sasha Banks set for a title defense on Smackdown
Sasha Banks is the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion along with Naomi who is also booked to defend the titles against the team of Natalya and Shayna Baszler on this Friday Night Smackdown episode. It will be interesting to see whether the titles change hands, this weekend.
While Sasha Banks can go to WWE NXT, afterward, she also has an open invitation to join AEW as a member of Team TAZ. While speaking on the Pro Wrestling Illustrated podcast, FTW Champion Ricky Starks named his top pick for the first female Team Taz member with the following comments,
“I mean, if I had to pick anyone to be in Team Taz, it’d probably be Sasha Banks. Yeah, but I think for right now, I like it how it is. I like the fact that it’s this small group. I don’t want to overpopulate it and then it becomes something boring and just corny.” (quotes courtesy POST Wrestling)
