Sasha Banks has not been seen in the WWE since the mid-May of this year after she and Naomi had a walkout of an episode of Monday Night Raw. Since then the two have been suspended by the company and they have also been stripped off their women’s tag team titles.
Away from the WWE ring, Sasha Banks has recently undergone a Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK) eye surgery, earlier this week. Newsom Eye, the ophthalmologist center that was in charge of the performed surgery, shared videos and photos of Banks before and after the operational procedure.
Also, it’s interesting to note that Sasha Banks was spotted sporting a different hairdo than her last appearance on WWE TV. She used to be sporting a blue hair color while now she’s sporting black-and-cream hair color. There’s no update on the requirement of this surgery.

Sasha Banks isn’t coming back to WWE, anytime soon
As noted above, Sasha Banks and Naomi staged a walkout from WWE during the May 16 episode to get into an indefinite suspension without pay. According to Kazeem Famuyide, Banks’ WWE contract may be within two months, though any news outlets are yet to confirm the news. Even Naomi’s deal with the WWE should be up in the near future.
Paige Fought To Do Something On WWE TV Before Getting Released
Neither Sasha Banks nor Naomi has commented on their issues with the WWE. The latter hasn’t made any public appearances since the departure and she has also removed all references to WWE from her Twitter biography.
WWE has stated on their live television that Sasha Banks and Naomi “disappointed the WWE Universe” with their walkout. The company has also removed all the references of the two wrestlers from their TV graphic intro, deleted their Facebook pages, and pulled all their merchandise from WWE Shop.
According to Fightful Select, WWE doesn’t plan on releasing Sasha Banks or Naomi from their contracts or even freezing them. With none of the parties contacting each other, “there’s no end on the horizon for this situation.” Hence, we shouldn’t expect the duo back on TV.
Following the departure of the former tag champs, WWE announced that a tournament will be held to crown new Women’s Tag Team Champions. However, due to the lack of established teams in the tag division, there’s still no word on the date and format of the tournament.
