The predicted women’s title match at Clash of Champions is now official between Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch in an interesting way. The women’s champion was back on WWE Raw after a hiatus of two weeks to take a shot at Banks who decided to turn heel after comeback. Becky could not wait to get her hands on her and issued a challenge right there.

Sasha Banks made her entrance to the show but denied to enter the ring. She decided to have the match on her own terms and announced that it will take place over the women’s title at Clash of Champions. She also noted that on that night she’d mad Becky Lynch her b***h to heat up the scene. WWE.com confirmed the match thereafter and added it to the upcoming PPV match card.

Sasha Banks has been stealing the spotlight ever since her return to WWE. Well, it’s good for her since she wanted it to be that way. The heel-turn of her character was much-anticipated that brought back the ‘bad girl’ persona of her. We have seen this sadistic side of her back at NXT that was rare on the main roster. But it was the only way that WWE could have re-established her as a strong persona.

So we have been seeing continuous attacks on Natalya on WWE Raw ever since the comeback happened. The Queen of Harts is playing the jobber’s role here which is why she has taken the beatdown as well as a loss, last week which was her maiden win after re-entry. But her true target is something else that was the WWE Raw women’s championship, as per WWE.com,

“The Boss is out for the bag, having mangled Natalya in the ring last week while sending the very clear implication that her true target is Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. The Man has remained uncharacteristically distant so far, lobbing insults from afar while taking credit for Sasha’s renewed relevance: A challenger is only as good as her champion, after all.”

Becky Lynch was finally back on WWE Raw to address the situation and did not dare to issue a challenge to Sasha Banks and thereby setting up her next championship defense. WWE Universe must be glad that the challenger accepted to make it even a bigger match that takes place at the Clash of Champions PPV match. This is going to be the third confirmed title match from WWE Raw brand for the September 15th show set from Charlotte, North Carolina.
