Professional wrestling legend and two times WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels who is a former four times WWE World Champion recently revealed that the team of Triple H is still in charge of the NXT. He assured the fan that “Team Hunter” is in charge of NXT 2.0.
The NXT came into existence back in 2010 and when it started it was treated as a talent hunt show just like the Tough Enough competition. After a number of seasons WWE decided to change the structure of the NXT and turn it into a brand of WWE.

But it was not like RAW and SmackDown, it became the development Territory of WWE, just like the previous one, Florida Championship Wrestling. The only difference was this time the product was marketed more as it was televised World wide.
Triple H, The son-in-law of Vince McMahon was in charge of the NXT and he created a phenomena actually. NXT became the B brand of WWE soon and fans started to love it. It started to produce some of the biggest stars not only of WWE but in the world of sports entertainment today. But the focus of the NXT started to change after a number of years as it began to concentrate on bringing on big names from the independent circuit.
Triple H was looking for establishing NXT as 3rd brand of WWE, so he decided to bring in established names. It was even treated as RAW and Smackdown during the Survivor Series of 2019 when the NXT competed with the two brands. But after AEW came into existence, NXT was starting to lose the ratings war.
Therefore, Vince McMahon decided to take charge change the structure of the NXT. Right now the NXT is focusing on building of new talents rather than bringing in established talents from the independent circuit. And it is going quite well. Only complaint that the fans had, why it is not being run by Triple H.
Shawn Michaels who is a former four times WWE World Champion recently spoke to TV Insider where he revealed that the team of Triple H is still in charge of the NXT. He assured the fan that “Team Hunter” are in charge of NXT 2.0. He said;
“I started out doing two hours a day, three days a week. Now I’m doing it about 23 hours a day, seven days a week. People out there thinking it’s all Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard type of production. They just are the ones who gave us the direction of what it is they wanted from NXT going into the future. It is still all the team Hunter [Triple H] put in place doing it here.
“I love learning and growing in the different aspects of WWE, but I have a greater appreciation for everything he took on. I now understand how you can not return a text when you get it. I’ve never had so many emails, learning computer stuff. Things I swore I would never want to do. But have since learned to do that. It has been a blast. To be able to step in for my friend is my honor to do.”
