WWE SmackDown star and a former four times WWE World champion Sheamus who is also a former three times WWE United States champion recently claimed that he went into all of his matches as if he was performing in a stage like Wrestlemania.
The Celtic Warrior Sheamus started his professional wrestling career back in 2002 and work on the European independent circuit. In 2006 he came to America and got directly signed by the Mighty WWE. He worked on the development territories of WWE for 3 years before joining the main roster in 2009.
Sheamus Claims He Goes Into Every Match As If He Is Performing In WrestleMania
He shocked the entire world as he immediately winning the WWE championship after his main roster debut. From the very first day of his WWE career he had been treated as a main event star. He had been a total of four times WWE champion, a three times WWE United States champion, a former five times WWE Tag Team Champion, a former King of the Ring, Mr Money in the Bank, and he also won the Royal Rumble match of 2012.
There is almost nothing in WWE that Sheamus did not win. The only thing that he is yet to win in WWE is the WWE Intercontinental championship. We believe he will win that too in the near future. Recently he has lost his main event push but he is a consistent mid card star who is doing an amazing job in Friday Night Smackdown .
He is currently leading a faction named The Brawling Brutes where he has teamed up with Ridge Holland and Butch. Recently he featured in an Intercontinental championship bout against the champion Gunther. The match has been heavily praised by everyone. It even got a five star rating from Dave Meltzer. There are beliefs that this match could be the Match of the Year for 2022.
Sheamus who is also a former three times WWE United States champion recently spoke to SHAK Wrestling where he claimed that he went into all of his matches as if he was performing in a stage like WrestleMania. He said;
“I knew I had more to prove, and I came back and [thought] what have I got to lose? I thought my career was gonna be over and I got a second chance. Every time I get in that ring, it’s a blessing. It’s an opportunity to show everybody what I can do because that literally could be my last time in the ring. I don’t wanna go out that way, I don’t wanna go out in a way where it’s something lackluster.
“So my mentality is to treat every match as possible, given the time and given the segment and given where it is, but try and make every match you do like a WrestleMania moment or a WrestleMania match. I can’t go out there and half-ass anything. It’s just not in my DNA. I wanna go out there and put on banger after banger after banger. I wanna raise everybody.”
