This week’s Smackdown started as footage from last week was shown where Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey met in a Beat the Clock challenge on the main event of the show and Ronda Rousey won the competition at the end.
Charlotte Flair and Aliyah were scheduled to have a match. But it could never take place because Charlotte attacked Aliyah before the match and beat her down. Ronda Rousey came out and they had a massive fight. Officials had to come out to stop them.

WWE SmackDown 06.05.2022 Results & Ratings
Match 1 – Shayna Baszler defeated Sasha Banks
This match was booked for 5 minutes and it was an okay match. Banks dominated the most part of the match but at the end, Shayna pinned Banks with a roll up and Natalya held the legs of Banks from outside so that she could not move and the referee did not see it.
Happy Corbin was seen inside the Ring with the set being decorated as the Happy Talk segment. He tried to insult Madcap Moss. Moss appeared on the big screen and later he came out to the arena and insulted Corbin.
Match 2 – Gunther defeated Drew Gulak
It was a squash as anybody would expect. Why are they taking Gulak into action like this? His official role was the really fun. We hope WWE does not stop that. Gunther pinned Gulak with the Power Bomb.

Match 3 – Sheamus and Ridge Holland defeated The New Day in a Tables match
This match was booked for 10 minutes and indeed it was the best match of the night. It was a pay per view standard match. Butch appeared at the end of the match, and beat down both Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston. Sheamus and Holland put Xavier Woods through the table for the win.
After the last half of her emotional story, Lacey Evans finally made her WWE return. She had been given a new theme song and it did not sound bad. She did not return for any match tonight, she just entered the arena to celebrate with the fans.

Match 4 – Sami Zayn defeated Shinsuke Nakamura by count out
Sami Zayn asked for this match for next week but got it this week. We do not get it, why is Sami asking for a match against Nakamura? He could have asked for an IC title opportunity. About the match, it was booked for 6 minutes. Sami delivered a Helluva Kick on Nakamura outside of the ring and won the match via count out.
The main event of the night was a face of between The Bloodline and RK-Bro and Drew McIntyre. The babyface side entered the ring first and cut a funny promo together. The Bloodline came out after that and they went straight into a fight. The babyface side stood tall at the end as this week’s SmackDown went of air.
Overall, it was a below average show. Most of the parts were really boring. There is no mention of the Intercontinental championship. Since WrestleMania 37 WWE is completely burying the Championship for absolutely no reason. The Other segments were okay. As a go home show before a pay per view event, it was average. We give it 1.5 stars out of 5.
