This week’s SmackDown started as footage from Monday Night RAW was shown where RK-Bro and The Usos argued over superiority and the Usos proposed a Tag Team Championship unification match which was yet to be answered.

RK-Bro came out to the arena. They talked about what happened last week on Monday Night RAW. The Usos interrupted them. Once again they had an argument. At the end of the segment, RK-Bro accepted the challenge. It was a cool segment to open the show.

WWE SmackDown 15.04.2022 Results & Ratings

Match 1 – Rhea Ripley defeated Naomi

This match was good for six minutes at it was quite a good match. Both wrestlers were really impressive in this match and no one in particular actually dominated the match. Ripley pinned Naomi with a sudden Riptide.

Drew Gulak had been given a new role and he is now a backstage interviewer. He was seen interviewing Madcap Moss backstage who talked about recently splitting up from Happy Corbin and the feud their having.

Match 2 – Madcap Moss defeated Humberto

This match was booked for around two and a half minutes and it was mainly booked to promote Madcap Moss as a solo star. Not a bad match, more of a filler. Moss pinned Humberto with the Punchline Neckbreaker.

WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship Charlotte Flair got interviewed by Drew Gulak inside the ring. Drew informed that the management has agreed on an I Quit match in Ronda Rousey and her at WrestleMania Backlash. He also said that if the referee was not unconscious at Wrestlemania, Charlotte would not have been standing here as the champion.

Charlotte first attacked the fans and then attacked Drew for quitting wrestling and starting being an interviewer. At the end Charlotte attacked Drew physically add locked him in the Figure 8 submission maneuver. Multiple referees is came out to save him. It was a good segment. We can say it was one of the good parts of this week’s show.

Match 3 – Drew McIntyre defeated Sami Zayn by count out

This match was booked for around two minutes and the outcome of the match was similar to their encounter from last week. Sami once again escaped the match through the crowd. This time Drew followed him after winning the match via count out but could not catch him.

Match 4 – WWE Intercontinental Championship – Ricochet defeated Jinder Mahal to retain

This match was booked for 4 minutes and in this match Ricochet had been presented as a great athlete in this match. Jinder could not survive this match even with his dirty tricks. Ricochet who pinned Jinder with 450 Splash completely dominated Jinder.

Match 5 – Riddle defeated Jimmy Uso

The match was booked for 9 minutes and it was a good match. It was the best match of the night. The match was quite one and it offered competitions to both athletes. Orton and Jey fought each other outside the ring as well. At the end, Riddle pinned Jimmy with the RKO. RK-Bro celebrated as this week’s SmackDown went of air.

Overall, it was a very weak show. We wonder how terrible are the current feud build ups. Speaking of the feudes, well there is nothing mentionable right now. And it is really unfortunate that WWE is not giving any effort to improve the shows. Maybe they are taking the fans as liabilities. They are presenting Madcap Moss vs. Angel Garza as the attraction of next week’s Smackdown. You can understand the standard of the shows from here. We give it 1.5 stars out of 5, and that is all because of the Charlotte Flair segment and the main event match.
