ToggleLast night’s Smackdown was a pretty good show with some action packed matches and excellent segments. The Bloodline storyline continued with a violent confrontation between Jey Uso and Solo, the Women’s Championship segment got even more ignited, and there were other attractions as well.
But there was another segment that raised a lot of questions since it was pretty confusing and it was never clear what WWE meant by this segment. Just before the main event of the night, the Almighty Bobby Lashley appeared in his Limousine and he was also seen shaking hands with the Street Profits.

Smackdown – The Countdown Begins: WWE Drops Clues Suggesting a Blockbuster Faction Reunion
At the end of this mentioned segment, the Street Profits entered the Limousine of Bobby Lashley and left the arena. This was such a confusing segment and it raised a lot of questions among the fans. The actual reason behind this angle is still unknown but a lot of speculations have already started to rise following this segment.
The biggest speculation that fans have burst into is a potential return of the famous WWE faction Hurt Business. Bobby Lashley was the leader of it and it was doing pretty good in 2021. But in the same year, WWE decided to cancel the faction for absolutely no reason. Fans speculated the faction was canceled mostly because of the disapproval of Vince McMahon.

Bobby Lashley Returned On Smackdown Last Night
WWE teased a return of this faction during the dying days of 2022 and even in the early 2023. This time they even teased that Omos would become a part of the faction as well. Fans were really excited to see this potential return of the faction, especially with Omos being teased to be a part of this possible angle.
But for some unknown reason, WWE totally stopped this angle. It was never teased or never mentioned after that. Bobby Lashley was scheduled to have a feud with Bray Wyatt which never happened since Wyatt disappeared. And the Nigerian giant started a new feud with Brock Lesnar for WrestleMania 39.

Last night’s angle can definitely be a huge tease for the return of the Hurt Faction with the Street Profits becoming the newest members of it. So if the famous faction actually returns, can we expect to see it becoming a six man faction including all other previous members with Omos and the Street Profits becoming the newest additions? This could definitely be an excellent idea and the fans would surely love it.
