It had now been reported by BWE that the new Heavyweight Championship will follow the timeline of the original World Heavyweight Championship that was introduced by Eric Bischoff back in 2002 and first held by Triple H. The new World Heavyweight title will be a continuation of the same title.
This title was merged with the WWE Championship in late December at the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs event when WWE Champion Randy Orton defeated the World Heavyweight Champion John Cena. After ten long years, the title is finally coming back to WWE which is definitely huge news.
World Heavyweight Championship Will Follow The Timeline Of The Previous World Title
Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer reported that the early ticket sales for the upcoming AEW Collison had been pretty slow. Meltzer confirmed the lack of buzz regarding the show and he wrote, “the names that were announced and everything like that, it’s not enough.”
Former two times WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Dakota Kai is confirmed to be out with a torn ACL injury and the Kiwi professional wrestler would be out of action for months. She was involved in a storyline among the Damage CTRL wrestlers and her injury would definitely affect it.
Mercedes Mone aka Sasha Banks was rushed to hospital after she picked up an injury during her match against Willow Nightingale. PW Insider reported that she was originally scheduled to beat Willow Nightingale last night to win the new NJPW Strong Women’s Championship. Her current injury would be keep her out of action for months.
