It is scheduled for RAW on August 14th and reports from Fightful Select suggest that a duo would meet each other again at payback which would be the very next PLE after Summerslam.
Zelina Vega challenged Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship at Backlash. According to recent reports from Fightful, this was match was originally planned to be a squash victory in favor of Rhea Ripley. But WWE changed their mind after seeing the immense popularity of Zelina Vega in Puerto Rico.
Randy Orton Might Return At Summerslam
This week on RAW, WWE presented an amazing video package promoting the upcoming Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler match that is scheduled for Summerslam. The duo would face each other in an MMA rules match. PW Torch reported that Jeremy Borash and Paul Heyman were responsible for the video package.
Matt Riddle was seen jobbing to Ludwig Kaiser last week on RAW, which was pretty shocking. Reports from Wrestling Observer Radio claimed that the former United States Champion would not be pushed by WWE anymore that would be due to some personal issues outside of the ring.
It was rumored earlier that NXT star Ilja Dragunov would be promoted to the main roster soon and he would become a part of the famous faction Imperium. However, Dave Meltzer recently reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that there are no plans currently for Dragunov for a main roster promotion and he would work in the NXT.
