Today on Sportzwiki Wrestling Gossip Galore (SWGG) we would look at the possible match that Roman Reigns is going to have at Money in the Bank, update on the WWE Live Show that is announced in India, what happened after NXT went head to head with AEW, if Carlito was present backstage in Smackdown, and more.
Roman Reigns received a new unified WWE Universal Championship and he would not be walking around with two World titles anymore but one unified title. There is no confirmation on whom he would be defending this Unified title against, but it is pretty confirmed that he would be competing on both Money in the Bank and Summerslam.

Two matches are rumoured for Money in the Bank that would feature Roman Reigns. The first rumoured match is a Tag Team match where the Tribal Chief would team up with Solo Sikoa to take on The Usos. The other rumoured match is a Universal Championship match against Jimmy Uso.
After this week’s Smackdown, it looks like both matches are very much possible. Solo Sikoa decided to betray his own brothers to stand by the side of Roman Reigns. He hit Jimmy Uso with a Samoan Spike. So a Tag Team match is possible. But Jey Uso is still looking for a Bloodline reunion so it can be an indication towards a one on one title match. Moreover, it is pretty much possible that either of these two matches is happening at Money in the Bank.

WWE CEO Nick Khan already confirmed that WWE would be hosting a Live Show in WWE this September when he spoke to MoffettNathanson’s Inaugural Technology, Media, and Telecom Conference. According to reports from Observer, it looks like the show would be taking place on September 9th.
This past week on Sunday there were two major pay per view events from both WWE and AEW. AEW organized their major PPV event Double or Nothing and WWE went head to head by organizing NXT Battleground on the same night. Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer said that AEW was not hurt by this decision of WWE, in fact NXT Battleground suffered low viewership. So we can say that WWE’s plan backfired.

Previously, PW Insider Elite reported that WWE Legend “Carlito was spotted in Orlando” this week and he was rumoured to be appearing on Smackdown. But there was no mention of Carlito this week on Smackdown. So even if he was present backstage, the reason might have been something different.
