WWE United States championship – Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Owens – On paper, this is just another normal match with nothing special to expect. But the build up of this match made it one of the most anticipated match of the card.
The feud is being built up since August, 2016. We all know the storyline behind this feud. Former best friends turned into greatest enemies. This type of storyline is not very rare in professional wrestling, but this one is different.
Everything is good about this feud and even the build up. But the only thing we think is not built up well is the title picture in it. They just focused on the feud, the US title somehow remained neglected during this process.
But there is a good side too on having the title on the line. We did not see a good storyline for the mid card championships in quite a while now. This storyline is not only good, it is great. So this is definitely a positive side for the Raw mid card division.
We think Kevin Owens will get the victory in this match. Chris Jericho is taking his time off after WrestleMania for his band tour. He cannot carry the title along with him. So he will drop the title to Owens before leaving and it will give him a great push too.
