The newly formed Riott Squad – Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott have been moved to the SmackDown brand as part of the 2020 WWE Draft. These two had been picking up momentums for sometimes while being on Raw. But since they switched brands only one of them was used. This week, on SmackDown Ruby Riott was put on TV.
She wrestled on TV in a triple threat match to defeat Natalya and Bianca BeLair and got the pinfall win to earn a spot in the Women’s Survivor Series match. While she will be representing Team Blue, the question remains what could be the status of Liv Morgan. She’s a separate fanbase who is worried about her situation especially after a phase when she was thought to be receiving a big push.

Fans are asking about Liv Morgan’s status in the WWE. The good news is that she’s not forgotten on the roster. She is doing okay and she wasn’t used for an exceptional reason. It wasn’t that typical reason for getting forgotten in the WWE. Ringside News has learned that the New Jersey resident was there and in fact, she’s regularly been present at the taping.

She simply wasn’t used because Vince McMahon didn’t ask for her to the creative team. This is the same reason why several superstars don’t appear on television. The Boss’ acceptance is the main thing that’s needed and currently, Liv Morgan doesn’t have it. The writers may have ideas for a superstar but nobody wants to pitch it unless McMahon asks to do it.
At one point in her career, Liv Morgan was the favorite of the former Raw Executive Director Paul Heyman who inserted her into the controversial storyline with Lana. She also won a set of matches indicating a push is evident for her. But then Heyman was removed from his position and those plans went away.
The company does a lot of good work which includes giving an opportunity like Liv Morgan. She always wanted to be a WWE Superstar who’s now living her dream job. The Riott Squad member tweeted out a short message directing WWE which seemed to sum up her feelings. Despite the ignorance, she thanked the company with the following words, “I love you WWE thank u for taking a chance on me.”
