Ever since Vince McMahon was forced to leave the Board of Directors of the TKO group, Stephanie McMahon’s return was advocated by the fans and peers. Her ability as a management head of the WWE has been undeniable as seen in the past and Vince was the reason that she left the company in the first place.

Now for the first time since her leave from the WWE, Stephanie McMahon was seen on live television during last night’s Hall of Fame ceremony. She was seen seated next to her husband Triple H, the WWE Chief Content Officer.

It was noticed that Stephanie McMahon wore a hat with the ECW logo attached, similar to one she wore when she became the on-screen owner of ECW during the Invasion angle back in 2001. As mentioned above, she had not been seen on WWE television since she resigned as co-CEO of WWE in January of 2023 following Vince McMahon’s return to WWE as chairman.

Stephanie McMahon acknowledged by Paul Heyman at the Hall of Fame

Paul Heyman was the first inductee for the WWE Hall of Fame 2024 edition and since he was the foundation of the old-school ECW promotion, Stephanie McMahon was paying homage to it by wearing the special hat. Heyman also stated the following to acknowledge her presence on TV, “It’s time for Stephanie to admit she married the wrong Paul.”

There’s no update on whether this Hall of Fame appearance hints at a permanent return for Stephanie McMahon in the WWE scene. Previous reports from PWInsider suggested that there is a positive belief within WWE that Vince McMahon’s resignation should pave the way for her daughter’s comeback as she is believed to be a do-gooder for the company.

The source also noted that WWE’s internal dynamics have changed since Endeavor took things over, and it’s doubtful if the Billion Dollar Princess could reintegrate into the current structure,

“There are some in WWE hoping Vince McMahon’s resignation opens the door for Stephanie McMahon to return.”

“Although others spoken to cautioned that it’s not the same company that existed (internally) before Endeavor took over ownership so how she might potentially fit back in would not be immediately known.”
