Sting vs. The Undertaker is one of those dream matches between two icons of pro-wrestling that never ever happened. These two guys could have easily pulled off a classic during their prime.

But since Sting did not appear in the WWE after the WCW sell-out, the match always remained to be a fantasy.

Potential main event revealed for Wrestlemania 36

The Stinger finally arrived in the WWE scene in 2014 only to break his neck the following year that sidelined him from the competition, forever.

But the good thing is that the veteran superstar still believes that he could deliver one more match and that should definitely happen against The Undertaker.

During a recent edition of WWE Untold on the WWE Network, WWE Hall of Famer Sting disclosed that he still wants to have a confrontation with The Undertaker.

Major announcements for Starrcade

Deep inside, he wishes to have at least one face-off segment with The Undertaker in the middle of the ring,

“You know, if everything lines up just right. Vince, Triple H, ‘Taker, and Sting, maybe we could do this. Maybe we could just do a little… Let’s just do a face-off! Let’s get you guys involved in this or that.

So maybe I could do it. Maybe I could do that. And so, you know, I don’t know, again, if it’s just ego and pride or whatever, but I feel like I could do it all these years later.”

It’s appeared to be that etch from a seasoned veteran who just can’t get rid of the wrestling bug especially when he was forced to retire.

Sting still believes that this dream match is left inside him. But from WWE’s view, he will never be allowed to wrestle after dealing with a neck concussion.

Reports were out earlier this year that WWE may be trying to get Sting cleared for this speculated match against The Undertaker.

The officials were hoping that they could book this match most probably at a Saudi Arabia PPV in 2020. However, there’s still no update available whether the former WCW franchise’s been medically doing okay or not.

Sting suffered the neck injury during his last match, which happened against Seth Rollins back in 2015 at Night Of Champions PPV. At this age of 60, getting medically cleared will be very difficult, hopes are still intact among WWE officials.
