Former WWE star Summer Rae who is currently inactive from in ring action recently revealed that some WWE wrestlers thought that she was going to appear in the women’s Royal Rumble match of 2023. She also talked about her 2022 Royal Rumble appearance.

Summer Rae was signed by WWE in late 2011. She started her wrestling career under the development territories of WWE. Her work in the Florida Championship Wrestling, the development Territory of WWE back then, was really loved by the fans. She also worked in the NXT.

Summer Rae Reveals Some WWE Stars Expected Her To See In Royal Rumle 2023

In 2013 she came to the main roster of WWE holding the hands of Fandango. She acted as the dancing partner of Fandango. WWE decided to push Fandango as an upper mid carder when he made his main roster debut, and Summer Rae only played the role of a valet of Fandango.

After Fandango was downgraded to a jobber role, Rae started getting her own storylines. She what with the likes of Paige, Emma, Sasha Banks and others stars of WWE back then. In 2017 WWE released her from her contract. After that she went to the Independence Circuit and worked there for a while. Right now she does not have any contract with any promotion.

Summer Rae who is currently inactive from in ring action recently spoke to Golden Ring Collectibles where she revealed that some WWE wrestlers thought that she was going to appear in the women’s Royal Rumble match of 2023. She also talked about her 2022 Royal Rumble appearance. She said;

“So funny, Tenille (Emma) texted me from the Royal Rumble practice this last week and she goes, ‘I walked in and everyone –’ she goes, ‘Half the roster thought you were in the Rumble,’ and I was like, ‘What do you mean?’

“And she was like, ‘Everyone thought you were fabing them and you’re in the Rumble because you were training with Nattie,’ like two weeks ago and I was like, ‘If I was in the Rumble, I wouldn’t post that I’m training with Nattie. I’d make it a secret.’ Isn’t that funny? Actually, like Dana (Brooke) and all those people…
