Summerslam 2022 should witness a celebrity superstar returning to in-ring action, going by a current storyline in the WWE. Logan Paul took to Twitter last week to announce that he has officially signed with the WWE. Paul shared a photo where he was signing on the dotted lines at WWE HQ with Triple H and Interim WWE Chairwoman & CEO Stephanie McMahon standing by her side.
WWE provided an update on their website regarding Paul coming back to action in time for Summerslam 2022 about which he is already gearing up with some training sessions. Initially, The Miz claimed that Paul would be his tag team match partner at the upcoming PLE but that won’t be the case.
Paul said during his WWE signing that he will be seeking redemption against The Miz at SummerSlam 2022 on July 30th in Nashville, Tennessee. He even wrote “Coming 4 U @TheMiz” on the back of his new contract.

Per WWE, Paul’s WWE signing has set a new record since the posted picture is now the most-liked photo on WWE’s Instagram page. The photo currently has more than 1.3 million likes. Paul’s page was tagged on this photo as well and hence the photo could have reached the 23 Million followers that Paul possesses. The previous records for the most-liked photo on WWE’s Instagram page featured Roman Reigns and Goldberg.

Summerslam 2022 storyline between Miz and Logan Paul continues
Per the ongoing angle on WWE Raw, The Miz is currently set to face Logan Paul at Summerslam 2022 on July 30 in Nashville, Tennessee. The two previously teamed at Wrestlemania 38 earlier this year to defeat the Mysterios.
But after the match, The Miz turned on Paul by planting him with the Skull Crushing Finale. Following Paul’s Summerslam 2022 challenge, The Miz had the following to say on this week’s Raw,
“Logan Paul, accept my offer and we will become WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions. But if you don’t, I will be relentless. I will make you earn everything and you will be humbled.”
Then on Raw, AJ Styles defeated The Miz in a singles contest. After the match, Tomasso Ciampa attacked AJ from behind as Miz also joined him. After this set of actions, the proposed match between Miz and Paul may get converted into a tag team affair where Paul could team up with Styles to take on The Miz and Ciampa at Summerslam 2022.
