There are currently a number of superstars who deserve a better position than they are having right now. We can see a lot of superstars are having unnecessary push, even most of the fans do not want to see those in the main events. I am not going to name any of them, I hope you understand whom I am actually indicating. My point is, there are a lot of superstars in the roster who deserve a serious push. A number of these talents used to be on the main event once, and now, they are undercard. Things needs to be restored, if not main event for them, at least they should be given some steady non title feuds. There was a time in WWE, if you remember, when every single superstar no matter they are mid or undercard were involved in different storyline based feuds. Even that guy, Gillberg had storylines too. I think today’s mid-carders should be doing something at least. It seems too disgusting when they wrestle each other for so reason and even after giving one good performance against each other, they do not get a storyline. The problem is the creative team. They are not capable of handling that much storylines simultaneously. So my proposal is, give them opportunities for the intercontinental championship or the United States Championship or maybe forming them into tag teams to make some tag team rivalries and tag team championship feuds. Here are the names whom I believe WWE should consider a greater push;
Damien Sandow – Can you believe this, the same guy who won the Money in the Bank match for the World Heavyweight championship contract is now an undercard. Yes, Damien Sandow is not even a mid card, he is an under card. I felt really bad when I saw him getting eliminated from the Royal Rumble match like that. The guy is extremely talented, apart from good wrestling skill, he has great mic skill, which is very rare in the current roster of WWE. WWE should utilize him. And the guy is indeed very talented, who can forget his match against John Cena on an episode of Monday Night Raw in which he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract. Arguably, it was the best match of his career so far. His performance that night was highly appreciated by the critics worldwide. He might have lost the match, but we all know that professional wrestling is not all about winning or losing. Everyone thought this match would make his career. But no, that did not happen, in fact, his status is now down to an under card. We believe he should be raised to at least mid card status. The guy is only thirty one year old, he has a long way to go.
Dolph Ziggler – Every time I look at Dolph Ziggler and I see him performing undercard matches, I feel totally disgusted. This guy is a former World Heavyweight champion man! How can you demote a former world heavyweight champion to an under card? I can understand there is a reason behind this demotion, we all know that. But has not it be enough? The incident took place during the week of SummerSlam, a long time has passed, now he should seriously be promoted again. Yeah, he should be promoted to mid card situation at least. He does not event get any Intercontinental or United States championship match, neither any steady feuds nowadays. We say, give him at least some title matches (it does not have not to be the WWE World Heavyweight championship, there are other championships too where he can fit), which would be good for everyone.
The Miz – The Miz has always been a talking point for the fans and critics after he has been demoted to under card. I never understood why he has been demoted. He was in the main event of WrestleMania 27 as the WWE champion. Not featured in the main event, he won it too. Can you believe this, the man who defended the World Wrestling Federation championship successfully at the grandest stage of them all is now an under card! Not only it seems ridiculous, it seems funny as well. Last year, we saw the creative team was totally confused about what to do with the Miz actually. They could not even decide what gimmick he should play. We saw the confusing situation of his gimmick when he had a small feud with Kofi Kingston. Sometimes he cut heel promos, he wrestled as a heel, and soon turned face again. I mean, what is wrong with the creative team, what are they actually trying to do with him? If you take our suggestion, we say, turn him heel. That would something that every single fan would love to see. It would good him as well, and undoubtedly, it would be best for business.
Ryback – Ryback is another guy who suffering for his own faults, his ‘real life’ feud with Goldberg pulled a dark shadow in his WWE career as well. But you know, it seems really awful whenever you realize the guy that has been jobbing used to be a main eventer once. Yes, this guy had a steady feud with John Cena and CM Punk for the WWE championship. This is the same guy who remained till the very end of Royal Rumble match 2013. But Triple H also suffered such a situation early in his career so in this case we should not be much excited. But things need to be changed keeping mind the recent fragile situation of the WWE roster. If you do not consider Ryback as a main eventer, he should at least be given a role in the mid card situation. At least he should be doing something, it looks pretty boring to see him losing every night along with tag team partner Curtis Axel. Hope situations change for all these athletes very soon.
