Royal Rumble has always been an over an hour battle for decades. Surviving for a long time in such battle is not a very task. The Big Red machine Kane, who entered in sixteen different Royal Rumble matches, if you count his total time in all these Rumble matches, it would not be long enough, and certainly not over three hours. Kane’s half brother The Undertaker also entered in ten different Royal Rumble matches. neither he could manage a long amount of time in this platform. There are a lot of big names who also competed in this type of platform but never managed a huge number of time. In the earlier years, every Royal Rumble competitor entered after one hundred twenty seconds. From 2003, the amount of time has been decreased to ninety seconds. And it has become more difficult to spend a big number of time in a Royal Rumble match. In the history of twenty five years, only four superstars could manage a total time three hours in all of their Royal Rumble matches. Here are the names of all those four superstars;
Chris Jericho – (Total Time spent – three hours five minutes and nine seconds) – Chris Jericho is undoubtedly one of the top competitors in this type of platform. He entered in only eight Royal Rumble matches and spent over three hours in total. Unfortunately, he managed a victory in a Royal Rumble match. But he was very close in 2012, he was final superstar eliminated by Sheamus who wins the Rumble match that year. His return this year would be sensational, although, there is a fat possibility of that.
Rey Mysterio – (Total Time Spent – Three hours Sixteen minutes and twenty nine seconds) – The Performance of Rey Mysterio in Royal Rumble match is even better than Chris Jericho. Mysterio competed in only six Royal Rumble matches. He also holds the record of spending the longest amount of time in one single Royal Rumble match in 2006, the year in entered second and won the event. This Sunday, mysterio is going to enter the Royal Rumble match for the seventh time.
Shawn Michaels – (Total Time Spent – Three Hours forty two minutes and thirty seconds) – The Heart Break Kid entered in twelve different Royal Rumble matches. He holds a several number of records in such platform. He is the first superstar to win a Royal Rumble match by entering number 1, he also eliminated the highest number of superstars in all of his royal rumble matches in total (thirty nine). Michaels won two Royal Rumble matches in total; 1995 and 1996.
Triple H – (Total Time Spent – Three Hours fifty one minutes and thirty two seconds) – The cerebral Assassin spent the longest duration of time among all superstars in all of his Royal Rumble matches. He competed in eight different Royal Rumble matches and won one of them. In the year 2002, he entered in number 22 and won the event.
