The Immortal Hulk Hogan had been one of the biggest stars in the world of professional wrestling throughout the 80s and 90s. He has worked in both major promotions of the time and he was always treated as the top star of all the promotions he worked in.
It had been a dream of almost all the wrestlers that were active in the time and many modern day wrestlers have expressed their desires they could have worked with someone like Hulk Hogan who was extremely successful in his wrestling career and has accomplished multiple big things in his career.

However, not everyone wanted to work with the Hulkster during their time. Professional wrestling legend Booker T was one of those wrestlers who not only never wrestled Hogan but never wanted to work with him either. Speaking on the latest episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, the former five times WCW World Heavyweight Champion said;
“I never wrestled Hogan, but I never really wanted to wrestle Hogan,” he said. “I just never thought Hogan and I would have great chemistry … I didn’t see our styles working well together at all. I didn’t see that match being a classic or anything like that just because Hogan, at that time especially, didn’t do anything but punches … I could maybe be in a tag team [match with him and a partner against Harlem Heat].

“That might have worked because we would have been the heels and he would have been the babyface. All he would have to do was sell and make a comeback. Leg drop go home. That might have worked.”
Hogan might have been one of the biggest names in this business but he had to go through massive criticism throughout his career being quite selfish. A lot of wrestlers and wrestling figures have brought allegations against him and there are even examples for which he had to face criticism.
This was one of the biggest reasons why a lot of wrestlers did not want to work with him since it was very rare that Hogan decided to put over younger talents. Of course he did put over some talents like The Ultimate Warrior at WWE WrestleMania VI but there are still allegations on him. But no matter how much criticism he has to face he will always be remembered as one of the biggest names ever in the world of pro wrestling.
