As announced by the WWE, last month, the WarGames match will be back on WWE programming at Survivor Series 2022. This will be for the first time in the company’s history that the WarGames will be introduced to the WWE’s main roster where Raw and Smackdown Superstars are expected to tear each other apart using the No-DQ environment of the match.
Going by the history of WarGames, it’s certain that the current stables present on the WWE mainstay scene will duke it out inside the caged structure at Survivor Series 2022. One of those factions is DAMAGE CTRL (Bayley alongside WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Dakota Kai and IYO SKY) who is likely to be part of the Women’s WarGames match.
Top WWE Smackdown Superstar Happy As Long As She’s “Getting A Reaction”
Being the leader of the DAMAGE CTRL faction, Bayley is certainly in a position to pick her own team heading into WarGames. During a recent interview with WWE’s Die Woche, she was asked who she’d want to join her and her stable for the potential WarGames match. Like a smart one, she picked two of the strongest names for the Survivor Series 2022 bout.
“I’m gonna go with Rhea Ripley, doesn’t seem like she has any fear right now and I like it, and I am going to take Tamina,” Bayley said. “She has the most experience, she’s got literally nothing to lose, and I know she’ll drink with me when we’re done, have a couple shots of tequila … I got a scar from that superkick on my shoulder.”
Bayley wants to perform at Survivor Series 2022: WarGames no matter what
During the interview, Bayley was also given an alternative opportunity for her at Survivor Series 2022. She was then asked if she’d rather win the Raw Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules on October 8 and then go on to face SmackDown Women’s Champion at the November PLE in a one-on-one capacity or inside the WarGames match.
“I would much rather do WarGames because that’s something I’ve never done before, and I want to do everything in the WWE,” Bayley replied. “So I would definitely want to do WarGames instead. No offense to Liv and Ronda.” Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey will compete for the “SmackDown” Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules.
It should be noted that Survivor Series 2022 won’t feature the Raw vs. Smackdown theme, this year as the WarGames match will replace the same. Before possibly entering the barbaric structure, Bayley is set to challenge Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Title in a Ladder Match at Extreme Rules.
