WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan was never projected to be a strong title-holder but she’s bringing her A-game, no matter what. What was applauded through strong cheering reactions from the audience, has now been converted into recent boos due to Ronda Rousey getting involved in the picture as the babyface challenger.
As seen in recent weeks, Liv Morgan has ended up receiving boos from the crown especially when she was in the ring with Ronda Rousey ahead of their WWE Smackdown Women’s Title Match set for Extreme Rules 2022. When the boos first started from members of the WWE audience, she apparently tackled the negativity by taking inspiration from John Cena.

Liv Morgan happy to create a reaction through WWE Smackdown audience
In an interview with Metro.co.uk, the current WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion didn’t show frustrations towards those fans who see her as a heel. She’s rather happy to involve the fans in the product and force them to react to what she’s doing, no matter what,
“It’s okay,” Morgan said. “I understand the reaction in a weird way, so I didn’t take it personally, necessarily. The funny thing is, in wrestling, in WWE, all you want is a reaction. So, even though it maybe wasn’t the desired reaction, it’s still polarizing. As long as we’re getting a reaction, I’m okay. And I’m still champion, so I’m more than okay.”
Liv Morgan won WWE Smackdown Women’s Title by cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase on Ronda Rousey before retaining it via a controversial win the following month at Summerslam. She was awarded the win despite tapping out to the baddest woman on the planet. Some fans voiced their frustrations about how Liv was being portrayed as a weak champion that generated the booing reactions in the first place.
Morgan acknowledged in the interview that winning WWE SmackDown Women’s Title was the best thing that happened to her which also helped strengthen her emotions. At Extreme Rules 2022, she is set to put her title on the line, against Ronda Rousey in a rematch, this time in an Extreme Rules Match.
