When it comes to professional wrestling, Tessa Blanchard is one of the best female performers and she’s proven her ability, time and time again. However, wrestling skills aren’t the only thing via which you can build your own reputation. Stories are there where she had fallouts with wrestling promotions to keep her reputation at stake and that could be one of the reasons why she remains to be a free agent for almost two years now.
Tessa Blanchard used to be a top star in IMPACT Wrestling before the promotion forced her to vacate the IMPACT World Championship for no-showing in TV tapings. Moving ahead, she was rumored to join either WWE or AEW but that wasn’t the case. Controversial stories around her are said to be the reasons why the top two companies hesitated to sign her into a contract.

Afterward, Tessa Blanchard was associated with the Women’s of Wrestling (WOW) promotion but recently, she reportedly ended up having a fallout with this company, as well. According to the reports of Fightful Select, there are allegations of issues surrounding the top female star and the company.
Tessa Blanchard was supposed to headline WOW’s TV return
The re-launch of the WOW promotion could have also marked the in-ring return of Tessa Blanchard, a former WOW Champion. But that may not be the case after what transpired in recent times.
The former IMPACT star also took to her Instagram Stories to post a quote from Pastor Matthew Hagee, seemingly reacting to the reports that surrounded the internet,
“When standing up for your beliefs becomes a matter of great inconvenience, will you stand.”
With former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee acting as the Executive Producer, WOW announced back in October 2021 that they signed a multi-year deal with ViacomCBS for new WOW TV episodes to air each weekend on The CW and CBS networks, starting from this fall.
A big press event was held last October where Tessa Blanchard was touted to be one of the cornerstone figures for the re-launch of the brand. Taping for the WOW TV episodes is set to begin this Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at The Globe Theatre in Los Angeles but there’s no confirmation whether Tessa will be there to attend the same.
