Big E is one of the most valuable members of the New Day which is considered one of the best factions in wrestling history. The team had been involved in many big and unforgettable battles, and they won multiple Tag Team titles together. E himself won the WWE Tag Team titles eight times while being a member of it.
One of their memorable battles took place at the Hell in a Cell pay per view event of 2017. They defended the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship against The Usos which is also considered one of the best Tag Team in the history of WWE. This match took place inside Hell in a Cell.

The Usos vs. The New Day is widely considered one of the best tag team feuds in WWE history. It is very rare that a Tag Team Championship match got defended inside Hell in a Cell. Big E, who was a valuable member of this match recently looked back at this match while speaking on After The Bell. He said;
“It’s still heartwarming for me to see people still bring up the Hell in a Cell match with The Usos because we still think that was so special and so much of that is (Xavier) Woods’ mind, it’s him — we all brought the best of ourselves to that and he brought the best of himself to that.” Said the former eight times WWE Tag Team Champion.

“But it’s also what he’s doing outside of the ring. This man has created jobs, he’s created a gaming channel that brought the locker room together, that got the boys and the girls pay days. We’ve had opportunities to go to incredible Comic-Cons to just do amazing things because of this and so he’s really — I don’t think we will really understand the impact that he’s had on the industry.
“Much of it might be behind closed doors, but he’s really helped people in so many ways. He’s a beautiful human being, a really giving person. So he’s just someone that I wanna give him his flowers at all times because he’s amazing.” Concluded the former WWE World Champion.
The New Day is not much active in WWE anymore. One of the biggest reasons behind this absence of the faction is the neck injury of Big E which he picked up last year before WrestleMania 38. The injury was so severe that he could return yet. We hope the former WWE Champion comes back to action stronger than ever.
